Bold Street

A friend once told me a story about a strange event in Bold Street Liverpool where a man walked into a modern bookshop and found himself transported back in time to a 1950s dressmakers. 

Looking online it seems that the street has become well known for its many stories of time slips, you only need to search the Internet for 'Bold Street time slips' to see many accounts of strange happenings.

That story inspired an experiment - a random narrative arc that is triggered every time you play the game. 

In this interactive fiction whenever you walk down Bold Street you may encounter the end of the world, a real Victorian, a secret tunnel, enigmatic books, a philosophical insight, a terrifying reality, a cultural reference, an alternate history, a future dystopia, or simply a flight of whimsy!

This experiment gives you a different micro scenario every time you play. Each scenario will take just minutes or seconds to play and there are thirty two of them.
